The second playdate was with Linus Avery. He is two months old. Allyson, from my high school crew, came up to visit on Thursday. We had fun comparing stories of motherhood and watching our cute babies. It was nice to see Ally and Linus and to have some company.

Mia turned one month on Friday. I can't believe it has been a month already. Mia has changed so much since she was born. We went to church for the first time since she was born on Sunday. We got there during the opening song, pretty good for the first time at church with an infant. Of course she looked adorable.

The other day we had Sloppy Joe for dinner. Well, it lived up to its name. We are currently eating in the living room for all meals since I can't find the dinner table through the clutter. Kris set his plate on the couch and went to put Mia in her bouncer. He then sat down, of course, on his plate. He had a nice spot of dinner on his behind. So, we decided not to waste the moment and let Angel have a little snack.

Now, just plain cuteness.

I loved the bathrobe! You're right - is it nonsense, but very cute. That's a great word for some of those baby things that seem so unnecessary. . .
