Mia had her 6 month checkup today and is officially 17lbs 12oz (77%) and 26" (70%). Dr said she is doing great. She was a trooper for her shots (we'll she if she has a reaction later). To celebrate we will start veggies tonight (Woo Hoo).
At 6 months old, Mia likes to: roll over, stick everything in her mouth, smile at everyone, laugh, eat her toes, sit up (sorta), and just generally be a happy baby. We feel very blessed to have Mia in our lives.
Saturday we went to the Taste of Tippecanoe and had a pretty good time. Mia convinced us to let her try cantaloupe, watermelon, honeydew, and strawberries. She enjoyed every bit. I wish I would have taken my camera to catch her reaction to seeing fireworks for the first time. She seemed to really enjoy watching them.
The other day she really got into her dinner cereal. She insisted on "helping" me feed her and got cereal from the tip of her toes to the top of her nose. Earlier that day Kris gave her a Biter Biscuit which she got in her hair and in her nails. She was a mess. She went right to the tub after dinner.
