Memorial Weekend and Week

Last Saturday was my youngest brother-in-law's HS graduation from Clinton Prairie.

Here is Kris and Mia waiting for the ceremony to start.
Landon and Mommy.
It is really hard to get a good picture in a HS gymnasium, so I didn't take many pictures.
Here is the class throwing their caps.
The proud graduate, Jake, and the parents.

The Livengood family that was able to attend.

Jake had his open house the next day.

My cute boy.

Landon doing his best bulldog look.
My niece, Harrison, really wanted this Mountain Dew
and started to fuss when Kris took it away.
Mia got a little hot and decided to take a drink out of the cooler.
Monday, Memorial Day, we decided to head to the park and go to the zoo and see the Memorial Parade. We saw someone we knew in the parade and Mia got to jump on their military car and go for a little ride at the end.

The zoo has a new Wallaby exhibit and we got to see the baby sticking it's head out of the pouch.
So cute!
The peacock is so pretty. He was standing on the prairie dog exhibit and vocalizing.
I don't think I have heard a peacock make noise before.
Mia has wanted to ride the train the last few times to the park, but it hasn't been running.
It was out on Monday, so we let her sit in it, but we couldn't wait long enough to get a ride.
Maybe next time.
My good husband carting both kids around.

Today was the annual Mulberry Festival and we decided to have a yard sale with my in-laws out at the Livengood house in Mulberry. It was a long day, but we made a little money, got rid of a bunch of stuff and had a good day.

After the Mulberry Chicken and Pork chop dinner we went over to listen to some music.
Here is Papaw and Mia listening to the singer.

Daddy and Mia dancing.

They had a pie eating contest and three of the boys and Mike entered.

Here is Micah, Jake and Gabe digging in.
Mike making a good show. Looks yummy.
None of them won, but it was fun to watch.

I want to go to the zoo! It is the first thing on my list as soon as Mr. Baby comes.
