Pumpkin patch and Firestation

On Saturday we took Mia to a pumpkin patch in one of the nearby towns. It was a bit chilly but we had a good time.

Mia loved the ponies!
She was trying to pick up the pumpkin.

Daddy helped Mia feed a pony some corn.
Here we are on the hay ride to the pumpkin patch.
Here's a shot of the field.
There are hundreds of the windmills near the pumpkin patch.

Mia helping Daddy find the perfect one.
Still looking.
Look Ma I found one.
This is her first time riding a horse and she was a natural.
I put her up there and she grabbed right on to the saddle horn and was saying "YeeHaa".

They had this big corrugated tube slide and Mia loved it.
It was a fun family outing and we hope to make it a yearly tradition.

Our playgroup this week got a tour of one of the local firestations.
Mia was shy at first but really took to this fireman.
Driving the truck.

Mia insisted on taking her "squirrel" with her.
I know it is a chipmunk, but try telling her that.
The group that came to the firestation.
Finally warmed up and not ready to leave.
The same fireman had to hold her hand to walk her out.

It was a fun playgroup.

And, for some pictures of our recent weekend at my parent's house check out my facebook pictures here.
