Autumn

We've had a pretty fun week. This turned out to be a long post.

Pumpkin Patch
Last Saturday the family went to the pumpkin patch at Millennium Farms. It was fun. We took a hayride out the to pumpkin patch and each picked out a pumpkin.

Papaw put Mia on a tractor.

Aren't we cute?

All of us with our prize pumpkins. They had ones that were still green. We thought they were cool.

They also had a little farm animal petting zoo, with chickens, ducks, donkey, sheep, goats, calf, lamb, and even a llama.

This was the biggest sheep I have ever seen.

It was good family fun.

They even have the cool big windmills out there.

Sunday while watching Conference, I braided Mia's hair. Cute huh?

Sunday at the In-Law's
Sunday evening we had a bonfire at the in-law's and ate foil pack dinner and roasted marshmallows. Our good friends the James' came to enjoy the evening too. Rosalee, their daughter, is only about 6 weeks older than Mia. They are great friends.

Some of the family decided to carve their pumpkins.
(Also pictured is Marie and Rosalee. Jesse is missing from all the pictures cause he was in the house writing a paper.)

This week, on Tuesday, Gwen, our babysitter, told us that Mia had pulled herself up to standing. She is now a pro at it in her crib. She will pull herself up and then plop down on her bum and do it over and over again.
Here is a video of her first attempts. Of course, as soon as I turned off the camera she stood right up.
